756 Days Straight.

By now our clients have been alerted to my quick out of office experience from May 7th - 17th. Upon one of the last phone calls to our clients, one of our early testers had a question that got me thinking... when was my last vacation?

I always get the "Do you Sleep?" questions, and I usually surprise our clients when they IM me at 3:00 am our time and I am up to answer them, but it even shocked me when I realized that I haven't "left" work for 756 days straight. Now I have had a day off here and there, been to conferences in Seattle for Amazon, etc - but they were just a day - and most were work related. So this is my first I am not really working although checking email vacation in over 2 years.

To all Cularis clients, thanks for understanding my short break (support is always here from our other staff as well). I will be back to not sleeping much on the 17th.

The idea of Cularis wasn't to create the next Google. Both partners were previously involved with several web companies that based their level of success on the number of clients they had, the sheer amount of traffic, or the ads they could sell. We knew our software - when developed with a simple approach and robust functionality, could bring us closer to our clients and help them support their business like it was our own.

Looking at the fields of content and e-commerce, we also knew that only two things would set us apart from the others. The first being the level of usability and flexability of our software, the second - and actually most important in our eyes - is customer support and service. It became our mantra, and the reason that all our products come with us - the people you see here.
