Things are going well, with 8 beta testers now on Content and several more going live over the weekend - we are starting to see 7 months of hard work shine in real life. We are opening up the beta to 20 total installations to maximize the response and bug hunting required to make Content the perfect CMS system. We have also already amassed a list of changes that will go into Content before the final 1.0 release is made public.
We are working on the manual, how-to videos and more so Content is as approachable and easy to use as we envisioned it. Store is also coming along nicely and we have ironed out a few bugs with the Xsilva LightSpeed Web Store Importer. In the depths of our development caves, we are using a total of 8 data sets from current web stores with products ranging from diapers to truck alternators to make sure that we don't miss a thing in our first release. We are tentatively set for a March 18th alpha release. The beta date has not been set.
To give you an idea of what we are making happen, one of our data sets has 212 categories, with 1,918 products and everything is running smoothly. Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements soon and thank you for your patience and attention while we bring you some great software!
